Why the sparse website?
Good question!
It isn't a tribute to Frank Stella or any of the other mainstays of the minimalist movement.
In fact, our leanings are toward Salvador Dali, but channeling the surrealist master would require a quantity of hallucinogens that would undoubtedly prove less than productive when it comes to developing games. Additionally, we haven't come across too many game elements successfuly incorprating burning giraffes or melting watches. Well, not yet anyway...
Actually, it comes down to priorities. As a start-up, we have day jobs so time is limited to evenings, weekends and vacations. Outside of David's penchant writing the blog, the staff hasn't really focused much on the web site. There is much to do in the initial phases of building a company and since making money on the investment is the crux of most businesses, our top priorities are as follows:
- Game development
- Blogging about game development
- Marketing and sales
- Web site
Perhaps when we get closer to releasing our first game, we will move down the list a bit more and spend some time sprucing it up a bit.
